Jewell County Historical Society

Specific Need

As a non-profit, we rely on generous donations:

• to operate the museum
• repair and moderize the museum and the collection
• and for growth and expension.

Some of our current needs include:

• roof replacement on the Museum
• on-going need tractor and equipment maintenance

Mission

THE PURPOSE OF THE SOCIETY is to bring together people interested in history and especially, in the history of Jewell County.  Understanding the history of our community is basic to our democratic way of life and gives us a better understanding of our county, state, and nation.  It promotes a better appreciation of our American Heritage.
